When the Evans family decided to turn part of their farm in to a camping field in 1957, who back then knew what it would turn out like almost 60 years later. Even 20 years later as can be seen in the photographs in 1976 the park is nowhere near as sophisticated and immaculately groomed as it is today. Yet that has not stopped the continued multi million pound investment and transformation to make it one of the best holiday parks in the UK. Indeed in 2012 the park won AA Welsh campsite of the year . It has also been awarded a 5 star rating by Visit Wales and a 5 gold pennant rating by AA as well as becoming a Premier Park in 2015. In 2015 the culmination of over £500,000 of investment has seen the park open a new fine dining experience. Giving the park a bar and a restaurant facilities that match the high standards set by the rest of the site. The continued investment will not stop and the family is committed to improve the park year on year.
